Most of our users use saline solution which is completely natural & drug-free to clear mucus and blocked airways, making it easier to breathe.

Saline is just a mixture of 1/2 tsp of salt and 1 cup distilled water you can make at home.

Always follow your healthcare provider’s advice if you choose to use it with prescribed solutions.

Nroome® comes with both child and adult attachments, so it’s perfect for the whole family. Many parents keep one for themselves as well as their kids.

Nroome is powered with 2x AA batteries (Not included) or plugged in using USB-C. The battery life should last multiple 10-15 minute treatment sessions, depending on the mist setting. 

If you’d like the device to be rechargeable, you can get rechargeable AA batteries, or use a powerbank.

Update: Starting January 26th, 2026, all models will now be battery powered, instead of rechargeable using lithium batteries. This was a heavily requested change as our customers preferred to have the option to use AA batteries instead.

If your device has a seal at the bottom, it is rechargeable. Please do not unseal it as it will affect your warranty.

Here are the steps for cleaning after each use:

1) Drain any residue solution, then refill a small amount (2-5ml) of water and close the lid. Gently shake to remove any leftover residue. Repeat 1-2 times.

2) Pour a small amount (2-5ml) of hot water (30°C or 86°F) into the medicine bottle and close the cover

3) Hold the power button down to put the device into cleaning mode, let it run for 1-2 minutes to remove residue from mesh holes (the device can clog and not produce mist if you don't clean off the residue)

4) Rinse the medicine bottle and cap with water and gently wipe with a clean cloth, including the front nozzle (you can use a tissue or cottonpick to reach the mesh), then allow the parts to fully dry in a clean environment

5) Rinse the masks and mouthpiece under warm or hot water, to clean off any residue there too

We also recommend disinfecting with 75% alcohol or acetic acid water after each use to ensure no transfer of bacteria. All of this will be covered in the included manual.
